My primary problems with Mastodon (the software, as opposed to the communities) are:
* no mark-up support
* Eugen is, to my knowledge, a straight prep
Eugen should at least have to be like a cool punk antifascist or something to continue being project lead imo
Eugen needs to give us opt-in federation, control over who can reply to posts, markdown support, and longer character counts.
@emma I completely forgot that Mastodon only has blacklist federation in the year of Our Lord Jesus Christ two-thousand and twenty-one
Admins can change the character count though can't they?
